Location: Remote in Latin America (Mexico, Central and South America) and Europe.

🧑‍💻 What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
• Customize WordPress functionality to support business needs and client projects.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality user experiences.
• Ensure websites are responsive, performant, SEO-friendly, and secure.
• Integrate third-party APIs, tools, and services into WordPress environments.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize sites for scalability and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and process improvements.

🧠 Must-have skills:

• Solid experience with WordPress development (themes, plugins, custom post types).
• Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress architecture.
• Experience with MySQL databases and query optimization.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrations.
• Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.
• Good understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and SEO best practices.

✨ Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with WooCommerce or other eCommerce plugins.
• Familiarity with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Divi, etc.).
• Knowledge of headless WordPress and REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Exposure to Docker or containerized environments.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for deployment.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
